Aftermarket Services Overview

GE Analytical Instruments offers the following technical and aftermarket services:

Instrument Installation and Start-Up

Instrument Start-up Services are available for all instruments. GE Analytical Instruments personnel will unpack and set-up your instrument, verify the functionality of the instrument's software and hardware, and conduct an overview of instrument theory, operation and maintenance, based on the Operation and Maintenance Manual. Pharmaceutical customers will receive completed Instrument Qualification (IQ) and Operation Qualification (OQ) documentation.

Instrument Calibration and Verification

Calibration Services, which are required annually or semi-annually for TOC instruments, can be performed either on-site or at GE Analytical Instruments. GE Analytical Instruments personnel will perform protocols to determine if the instrument is in calibration. If the instrument is not in calibration, appropriate adjustments will be made to bring the instrument into calibration.

Validation Services

Validation Services are designed for our TOC pharmaceutical customers who have purchased a Validation Support Package. After the customer (or GE Analytical Instruments) installs the instrument, this on-site service will provide the Installation Qualification (IQ), Operation Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ). Upon completion of the service, you will receive all documentation necessary for audit purposes.
