Standards Cleanroom Production Facility

GE Analytical Instruments manufactures TOC Certified Reference Materials in its state-of-the-art production facility. Designed to Class 100,000 cleanroom specifications, this laboratory is part of our ongoing commitment to produce the highest quality reference standards on the market.

In the more critical areas of the lab—where our solutions are exposed to the environment— we created mini environments built to Class 100 specifications for more stringent particle control. Particles can be the source for not only organic, but also biological contamination, both of which can affect the quality and stability of low-level TOC standards.

The standards cleanroom offers automated equipment, including custom-designed robotics for cleaning lab glassware and filling vials. Automation removes the risk of contamination from human contact, ensuring a more consistent product than standards manufactured by hand.
