New CheckPoint TOC Sensor Wins Gold IBO 2008 Award for Portable Analytical Instrument Industrial Design

BOULDER, COLORADO, August 20, 2008 — GE Analytical Instruments, a division of GE Water & Process Technologies, announces that its new CheckPoint Portable/On-Line Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Sensor has received the top IBO Portable Analytical Instrument Industrial Design award for 2008. This is the company's second gold, since its Sievers 900 Portable TOC Analyzer won the same top IBO Portable Instruments Design Award in 2005.
